JAMB ISSUE IMPORTANT NOTICE TO INSTITUTION ON MATRICULATION LIST

JAMB ISSUE IMPORTANT NOTICE TO INSTITUTION ON MATRICULATION LIST

All Institutions Must Submit Matriculation List Three Months After Matriculation

All tertiary institutions in Nigeria are required to submit their matriculation lists to the Federal Ministry of Education via 💪🏻JAMBHQ no later than three months after matriculation ceremonies.

This directive ensures that only eligible students graduate and participate in the @officialnyscng program, reinforcing JAMB's measures to prevent admission irregularities.

The Federal Ministry of Education has mandated that all admissions in tertiary institutions must go through JAMB’s Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). This is to eliminate illegal admissions and ensure fairness. Candidates should not accept any admission offers that are not processed through CAPS, as JAMB is fully enforcing this directive.

Dr. Olabisi Awe, Provost of the College of Nursing Science at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, has commended JAMB for its transparent admissions process, particularly through the CAPS system. She praised JAMB’s efforts to eliminate fraudulent admissions and for its seamless handling of staff promotion exams in public service.

JAMB reminds institutions to disclose any candidates admitted outside CAPS from 2017 to date by August 31st, 2024. Failure to comply will result in serious consequences, as the Board will not recognize any undisclosed admissions moving forward.

As institutions prepare for the 2024 admission cycle, JAMB reiterates that any admissions conducted outside CAPS will be void. Institutions are urged to follow the established guidelines strictly, avoid past mistakes, and use official email addresses for all CAPS-related activities to ensure a smooth admission process.
